" Lost, grieving, and heavier than ever. That describes early 2024 for me. I retired after 28 years in the Army in September 2023 and landed what I thought was my dream job. Reality did not match my expectations of that role! I left the Army at the pinnacle of my career directing development of health programs across Europe and supporting America's sons and daughters as the Warfighters out at the tip of the spear for our Nation. Talk about adrenaline and high levels of professional satisfaction! In my post-Army "dream" job, I found myself being praised for filling out spreadsheets and keeping track of one small element of a course. Ugh. I wouldn't label it as depression, but I was highly unhappy professionally and felt broken and like I was dying inside every day. Personally, once everyone got settled into their new routines and schools, my family was thriving being in Minnesota. Late night (insomnia!) Instragram scrolling landed me on the ad for i2's 6 week transformation challenge. The next morning, I had a phone call with Alex and was set up for starting this transformation journey! While there were some bumps on the road (a re-start due to profound work stress that hampered my ability to focus on the elements of the program), I have come out on the other end as a stronger person that is MUCH closer to the human I used to be. I have found community, motivation, and zeal for life! I have not yet achieved the weight goal I set forth, but cannot discount the gains in mental well-being. " I2 Fitness 6 week challenge has been an amazing experience for me! I thought this first 6 week challenge was not going to work for me, but ends up it was not as hard as I thought it would be. Alex has been an amazing coach has inspired and supported me along the way! Before I was always concentrating on the number in the scale and Alex helped me realize as you are building muscle you are loosing fat, and the number might not go down a lot but you are loosing that fat and you do see and feel the difference ! I have lost 5% body fat in my first six weeks with the meal plan(recipes are absolutely delicious) and the three day a week workouts I feel amazing! I look forward to these next weeks and continued success of my health journey and now look forward to the community of people I have met at 12 Fitness and my workouts at 12 fitness ! In the past, I struggled to take my health seriously. As a big guy who’s lost both parents to weight-related illnesses, I knew I didn’t want the same for my kid. I started at another gym on my own, but my efforts weren’t consistent. I lost some weight but felt like I needed something to push me harder.
One night, while scrolling, I came across the six-week challenge at i2 Fitness. I thought, why not? I signed up, and Alex gave me a call. We chatted, and I came in to check out the gym. I loved the energy Alex brought, and we set a goal for the challenge. I was ready to crush it!
The journey wasn’t easy. The day after I signed up, I had a rough day at work and gained two pounds right off the bat. But I stayed determined. I stuck to my workouts and locked in on my food. Slowly but surely, the weight started coming off.
The challenge landed during my birthday and Thanksgiving, so I knew mental toughness would be key. I put in extra workouts before my birthday and stayed focused on my nutrition. I made it through, and I’m happy to say I crushed my goals for the six weeks!

Absolutely not! The length of your membership is based on your goals and where you’re at now. 12 and 24 month memberships are NOT client-centric and our gym is all about our clients and their success!
We got you. We understand getting started is the hardest part. We’ll take it one step at a time. Step 1, come in for a “no sweat intro” and have a chat with us. No working out, no sales pitch, we’re just going to talk about your goals, that’s it. If you’re excited about what we talk about, we’ll move on to Step 2. No pressure, we’re coaches, and we’re here to help.
